Tracey Kearney

NYTO 1st Violins

Tracey began playing the violin at the age of 8 and progressed through the youth orchestras of her native Leicestershire before studying at the Royal College of Music.

She now works as a violin and viola teacher in primary and secondary schools in South East Derbyshire as well as playing and teaching privately.

β€œIt was my experiences in youth orchestras that moulded me into the musician I am, and many of my best musical memories come from that time. It is wonderful to be a part of Nottingham Youth Training Orchestra and see the young violinists develop as players and musicians and progress up through the orchestras. Thursday evening is definitely a highlight of my week!”
