As the first of NYO's 40th Anniversary performances, all of the Nottingham Youth Orchestras plus Nottingham Youth Jazz Orchestra performed at Nottingham's Albert Hall on Sunday 23rd March 2025 with a memorable 'Lights, Camera, Encore!' concert.

Experience the magic of film music brought to life by four talented youth orchestras in an unforgettable concert. These young musicians will transport you through the world of cinema, performing iconic scores from beloved movies. From sweeping orchestral pieces to pulse-quickening action themes, the programme showcases the passion and skill of the next generation of musical talent. Before the concert and during the interval, the Nottingham Youth Jazz Orchestra will entertain audiences in the bar area with their vibrant and dynamic performances, setting the tone for an extraordinary afternoon of music making. The grand finale will see the Training, Intermediate and Senior orchestras unite on stage for a collaborative performance, creating an unforgettable crescendo of youthful sound and emotion.

Tickets
We will have a standard ticket price of £12.50 which will give the ticket holder entry to the concert as well as access to the concert programme. Children of primary school age and under can gain entry for just £2. Must be accompanied by a fee paying adult.
