Detailed insurance policy...

Everything is included on the cost of the tour. However, there should be the opportunity to go to the Schonbrunn swimming pool or the zoo which costs around 10 euros, plus any other museums your son/daughter may wish to visit. Please refer to the 'useful information' document.

If a musician has a pre-existing medical condition, please could we ask that you provide Paula with a letter from your GP or medical practitioner to say that they are fit to travel. If you would like to contact Endsleigh to check the cover provided then the information is in the 'Personal Safety and Insurance' document. Please keep Paula informed about any dialogue you have with the insurance company.

Please note, all musicians are responsible for insuring their instrument - most instrument policies cover travel to Europe but check if you are in any doubt.  We do not require a copy of this information.

From Thursday 26th until Tuesday 31st July we shall be at:
A&O Wien Hauptbahnhof
Sonnwendgasse 11
AT-1100 WIEN

Telephone (from the UK): 00 43 149 30480 3900
In an emergency, parents may also ring Andrea Hemmett's mobile number: 07980 618019. Our tour/coach operator is Equity Tours.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING NUTS OR PRODUCTS WITH NUTS on to the coach at any time - we have two musicians with severe nut allergies.

Rehearsal: 3:00 - 5:00pm.

Reminders for NYO members:

Ensure your passport is in your hand luggage and you know where it is!

You will have a tour book and a card with all the tutors numbers - store these in your phone when you receive the card!

Feel free to bring DVD's for the journey.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING NUTS OR PRODUCTS WITH NUTS on to the coach at any time - we have two musicians with severe nut allergies.

Remember that concert dress is all black and that shoulders and knees need to be covered.

Bring clothes pegs for the outdoor concert – each desk needs to ensure they have at least 6 with them.

Towels are provided – however you will need one for swimming if you want to go

We suggest the equivalent of a minimum £15 per day for food etc (lunch is not provided) - it depends what you want to buy! You'll also need 10€ for the visit to the zoo or swimming pool, plus money for any rides or stalls at Prater Park. Allow some money for any additional sightseeing you may do in your spare time or gift buying!

Remember you'll need to purchase food whilst travelling and bring some sterling for the UK part of the journey too!
